Ondine is in excellent shape and performed very well on her journey from Portugal to Costa Rica. She endured two hurricanes and two tropical storms without capsizing and without a scratch.
Ondine was built in 1997 by professional British boatbuilders. A complete marine survey was done when we purchased her and confirmed the boat's excellent condition. Ondine placed 6th in the 2001 race and was widely acknowledged as the best built boat.
Ondine comes equipped, which includes the following items:
- roll bar : which allows raised lifelines, higher mounting of antennas and strobe, mounting of additional buoyancy for enhanced self-righting capabilities
